Selecting a Date and Time
Choosing a date and time for your workshop that accommodates everyone's schedules can be challenging.
To achieve higher attendance, we recommend either hosting two sessions of the same workshop to accommodate those who teach on Tuesdays/Thursdays and those that teach on Monday/Wednesdays/Fridays.
For participants who are unable to meet face-to-face, we strongly recommend offering your workshop via Zoom. All Appalachian users have the ability to host an online meeting with up to 100 participants!

To achieve higher attendance, we recommend AVOIDING the following dates and times:
- The first week of classes
- Monday mornings (before 11:00am)
- Friday afternoons (after 3:00pm)
- Dates surrounding Holidays
- Dates surrounding Mid-Terms and Final Exam Times
You may also consider hosting Lunch and Learns. Participants can either bring a bagged lunch or you can provide lunch through ASU Food Services, Dominos Pizza, Panera Bread, Bella’s Italian Restaurant, Carolina Pizza, or Stick Boy Bread/Kitchen.
