The Digital Design and Fabrication Learning Community is a group of faculty and staff exploring the professional and educational use of computer aided design (CAD) and digital fabrication hardware used for three-dimensional design, visualization, fabrication. Prior to 2022, the group was called Generative Design and focused solely on the use of Rhino3D and Grasshopper3D, and was composed of Fine Arts and Applied Design Faculty and Staff. Beginning in 2022 the group has expanded focus to include multiple applications and forms of output related to Digital Design, Fabrication and Representation and are open to Faculty and Staff interested in teaching with these tools throughout campus. The participants have selected the following meeting schedule for Spring 2022. Jan 14, Feb 11, Mar 18, Apr 8, and May 13 from 3:30 to 5 pm. However, this may change based on a variety of factors.
