The Digital Design and Fabrication Learning Community is a group of faculty and staff exploring the use of computer-aided design (CAD) and digital design software applications used for teaching and design, visualization, and fabrication. The group was initially called Generative Design and was focused solely on the use of Rhino3D and Grasshopper3D prior to 2020 and had primarily been composed of Fine Arts and Applied Design Faculty and Staff. Beginning in 2022 We have expanded the focus to include multiple applications and forms of output related to Digital Design and Fabrication and Representations and are open to Faculty and Staff interested in teaching with these tools throughout campus.
