In this session, we'll explore strategies for using video to enhance students’ engagement and interest in online learning. While Camtasia, Panopto, Screencast-O-Matic, and other tools provide ways to record and share online, how do these tools shape the nature of teaching and learning? What strategies might be used to create videos that move beyond the frame and into the real world, providing opportunities for students to learn in meaningful ways? Participants will walk away with some new insights about a video practice for teaching and learning online and an appreciation of related issues and challenges.
