Inclusive Teaching in Natural and Physical Science

There is the necessity for diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM education. However, students from various backgrounds and social identities are underrepresented in scientific fields and typically face larger and more frequent barriers. This workshop focuses on identifying the unique challenges faced by a diverse student population and allows faculty and instructional staff to develop the skills needed to incorporate inclusive practices into their classrooms.
