Mid-Career Revision AppLC

Date(s):
Thursday, September 9, 2021 - 12:00am to Thursday, December 9, 2021 - 12:00am
Location:
Online in Zoom

As faculty reach mid-career, their professional development needs can change.  The goals of tenure, promotion, or long-term contracts may no longer be guiding metrics, and career paths may not be as clear.  Mid-Career faculty may find themselves over-tasked with the demands of their students, the university, and their disciplines and struggle to carve out time to re-evaluate their goals.

The mid-career ReVision Faculty Learning Community (FLC) provides an opportunity for faculty to take the time to reconsider their professional paths.  Through vetted readings, guest presentations, group discussions, and personal reflection, this FLC offers a space for faculty to consider new possibilities for their careers or to retool/re-energize their current trajectories. View or download the ReVision AppLC Flyer. (pdf)

ReVision requires a semester-long commitment with an invitation to contribute to future cohorts.  The FLC will meet four times in the Fall.  The first three meetings will be synchronous sessions via Zoom, and the final meeting will be in In Person.
