Learning Technologies

The Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) is your resource to expand your understanding and implementation of technology in your role in the Appalachian community. CAE also provides pedagogical support to help instructors use these tools effectively.

For technical support or to schedule a consultation in instructional design and practices, please contact the Instructional Technology Consultant for your college.

This Keep Teaching Site was developed to provide you with some actions to take when making the shift to online teaching quickly.  We have also developed a list of considerations and resources for teaching remotely, a guide to help you assess student learning online, and resources for inclusive online teaching

Please attend one of our workshops this week and reach out to one of our Faculty Champions for help with your course.

A student response system (i>clicker) allows students to instantly provide feedback and answer questions posed by their instructors.
