Announcing - Open Classroom Initiative (OCI) . Open Classroom Initiative is a week-long event during which our Appalachian Teaching Excellence Award Recipients open their classrooms to colleagues across the academic community. This initiative will provide opportunities for faculty across disciplines to visit classrooms and learn new teaching approaches and strategies. Open Classroom Initiative will take place the last full week of October each year. This year, Open Classroom Initiative is scheduled for October 22nd through the 26th.
