Zoom is a great web conferencing tool, and our campus offers Zoom accounts to faculty, staff and students. Whenever you consider using technology, it is also important to insure that content is accessible to everyone. Zoom is a great choice to not only record the conference meetings, but also to transcribe them.
Zoom has an audio transcript option that automatically transcribes the audio of a Zoom session that you record in the cloud. The transcript appears as a separate file in the list of meetings that were recorded. Download the file to open it in MS Word or other text editors.
