Hypothesis: Easy Digital Group Annotating for Teachers of Writing

Hypothes.is is a super-easy tool baked into AsULearn and its gradebook that allows for group annotation - notetaking and conversation - right on top of online documents such as websites or uploaded PDFs. No more having to dig for quotes while you and your students are discussing them asynchronously! In this workshop, a guest specialist from Hypothesis (and former writing instructor) will demo how you can use Hypothes.is specifically with writing (or writing-forward) courses to make the online conversations flow more easily.

Done this before, but heard about our new 'Metagroup Sync' tool and want to use it? Attend this webinar and learn to use the "course meta link" to combine enrollments from multiple sections or courses into ONE AsULearn course site, while still being about to sort your grade book by section, and send announcements to separate sections if needed, and use group overrides to control release times of the same activities based on section (group).

H5P: Interactive Media Tools in AsULearn

H5P is a feature in AsULearn that allows instructors to create interactive content within their courses. The first part of this workshop will be a quick 30-minute tour of H5P.
