AsULearn Essentials & Beyond

The AsULearn Essentials course is a five-week, lightly facilitated, asynchronous, cohort-based course aimed at helping faculty become acquainted with Appalachian State's Learning Management System (LMS) AsULearn. Faculty will gain experience using AsULearn from a student's perspective, as well as practice using some of the most common educational technology tools in their own AsULearn course. Deliverables for this course have been designed to assist faculty with creating and building their own AsULearn course.

Introduction to hosting Kaltura video for use with AsULearn

This introductory workshop will cover the basics of using Kaltura to host videos for delivery in AsULearn. This is intended for faculty and staff that have no prior understanding of Kaltura, but may have used Panopto, YouTube, Zoom Cloud Recordings or uploaded MP4's directly in AsULearn and want to learn about an easier, more efficient method for using video in AsULearn. Registration Link

We will take a quick, but detailed dive into Kaltura MediaSpace's personalized content framework, which includes media creation and repository. The last 14ish-minutes will be opened for Q&A.

This is a practical, no-nonsense approach to hosting your media on a media server -- and it's quick and easy!
