TBD- Various Active Learning Classrooms on Campus

This Learning Community series is focused on practical teaching strategies to use in an Active Learning Classroom. Participants are invited to read and discuss the book "Active learning: A practical guide for college faculty." M Weimer - 2017 - Magna. (book provided by CAE.) We plan to meet in 4 sessions, once a month to discuss the book in 3 sections, then culminate with a lightning talks session delivered by participants to share a technique, lesson learned, or other helpful "very short" presentation to share among a wider audience of peers that may be interested in exploring a wider range of Active Learning Strategies whether in an ALC or even traditional classroom. We plan to meet in a variety of ALC's on campus throughout the semester. Registration Link
