Appalachian Learning Communities (AppLC)

What are Learning Communities?

Appalachian Learning Communities (AppLCs) are trans-disciplinary groups of people who share a common interest and through a process of collaborative inquiry, learn, develop, and share ideas relevant to a specified topic and goal. The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning for Student Success sponsors learning communities that integrate knowledge, experience, identities, and curiosity among all sectors of the academic community.

For more information or to learn how to initiate an AppLC , please visit our AppLC resource site.
